Reaper Miniature first introduced Pro Paints in 2000. Pro Paints became instantly popular and have retained consistent user loyalty for their ease of use, high quality, and exceptional value. Pro Paints' dense pigmentation and thicker consistency makes them perfect for one-coat direct application or mixing with and , to customize its working properties. This, combined with their generous 3/4 oz bottles, makes them an excellent value for the novice or professional.
Master Series Paints were launched in 2004 and are a professional-quality acrylic paint specifically formulated for painting metal miniatures. Each bottle is 1/2 oz, non-toxic, and will clean up quickly with water. Master Series Paints have excellent flow properties and many painters prefer to use them "straight from the bottle". Master Series Paint colors are formulated using a tri-color combination where the primary color is matched with its dark and highlight colors. This "triad" system is perfect for the beginner, who is not sure about color mixing, and the professional, who needs to save time.
