Reaper Miniatures issues approximately 10 new Dark Heaven Legends figures each month. Around April of each year, they cancel about 120 of them. This caps the line at no more than about 500 different designs in production at any one time.
To date, Reaper has issued over 1400 different Dark Heaven figure designs. So more than half of the line is no longer in production and much harder to find in local stores.
At Miniature-GIANT, we pride ourselves on stocking a full line of Dark Heaven figures -- both the latest releases and those long since cancelled! We do this by buying store close-out inventory, collectors' unopened stock, choice eBay lots, ... basically anywhere we can get Reaper Miniatures in new condition so that we can never be long out of stock on any of the Dark Heaven figures.
