This handmade 3D Iris folding square card is very unique and quite stunning. This Mother's day card is specifically for a new mom, or one that has several young children and needs to be encouraged! The intricate folding technique in this swirl design makes this simple card gorgeous. It reminds me of origami. There are actually three layers to this card. The top layer is a fancy die cut with silver embossing on white card stock. It says: wonderful Mother. The font used on the word "Mother" is very elegant! This layer is set above the focal point layer. Using the Iris folding technique, there are four coordinating patterned papers that are folded and carefully arranged in a swirling pattern. The first pattern paper has shades of blues in a wave design. The second, is butterflies in blues, greens and coral on a white and gray background. The third, is in mossy greens in a "screen door" design. The fourth paper is triangles in various shades of greens and blues, The center of the Iris, is a shiny silver card stock square. The swirl design is framed in a wide light blue textured card stock. This focal point layer is set above the white base card, which opens vertically. The sentiment page states: These are days: of so little sleep, of endless laundry, of messy homes, of self doubt. Doing just okay will be enough for today. Along the left side of the sentiment, there is a strip of one of the patterned papers. It comes with a white envelope. It is a 5 1/8" square card. Please note that in some areas, square cards require more postage.

The ends of all ribbons are tucked between layers, or if they are exposed, the ends are treated with Fray Check so they will not unravel.

Please remember, these cards are all handmade -- if fulfilling your order will take much longer than normal, due to other outstanding orders, we will email you for approval and issue a full refund if the delivery estimate is unacceptable. Of course, you can always email us in advance for an "estimated time of shipment" before placing your order. Since these cards are individually handmade, each card will be a unique work of art and cannot exactly match to the images show. Your completed order indicates that you understand and accept this reality.
On a Personal Note: When you post any card that contains a "bumpy" embellishment, you add a foam insert to that area so the card won't get damaged by the machinery.
