Miniature-GIANT Company Policies

• Payment Methods - All orders must be paid for prior to shipment -- we do not offer COD.   Currently, we offer the following payment methods
  • FASTEST -- PROCESSED ON DAY OF ORDER (except eCHECK)
    • PayPal
      • You do NOT have to have a PayPal account to pay using PayPal!
      • PayPal accepts: VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, eCHECK (direct bank transfer), and, of course, PayPal account funds
      • All financial information is received, kept, and tracked by PayPal -- we do NOT have access to any of it!
      • PayPal eCHECK payments will be processed as soon as your eCHECK clears our bank, usually 4 business days
      • All other forms of PayPal payment will be processed as soon as we receive notice, usually within hours
    • Gift Certificate - Gift Certificates can be purchased in any amount of $5 or more and are redeamable for full or partial payments of orders.   If the Gift Certificate's value is greater than the order it is applied to, the value of the Gift Certificate will be adjusted accordingly, e.g., using a $10 Gift Certificate on a $6 order will cause the certificate to be re-evaluated to $4 for future use.   Note: Gift Certificates are not valid until the funds used for their purchase are actually received.
  • 2^nd FASTEST -- PROCESSED ON DAY OF RECEIPT
    • Postal Money Order - must be issued by the USPS in US funds.
  • SLOWEST -- PROCESSED WHEN FUNDS CLEAR
    Drawn on a US Bank in US Funds only.   Products are not shipped until the funds clear our bank.   Please allow 5-10 business days.

• Shipping Methods - At present, we offer the following four shipping options -- estimated to be AT COST!!
  • USPS First-Class Mail - up to 13 oz total weight, shipped in a padded envelope(~1oz).   This is by far the least expensive shipping method available, but due to the weight limit, it is an option only for small orders.   USPS estimates delivery times of 1 to 3 days.
  • USPS Priority Mail - up to 70 pounds total weight, usually shipped in a Priority Mail box (~8oz).   This is fast, and for modest sized orders is usually the second least expensive option.   USPS estimates delivery times of 1 to 3 days.
  • USPS Parcel Post - up to 70 pounds total weight, usually shipped in a standard mailing box (~8oz).   This is much slower, but for large orders, this is generally the most cost effective option.   USPS estimates delivery times of 2 to 9 days.
  • USPS Express Mail - up to 70 pounds total weight, usually shipped in a Express Mail box (~8oz).   This is the fastest method available, but it is never an inexpensive option.   USPS estimates delivery times of 1 to 2 days.
  
   
• Fees - We are in the business of making money by selling products -- not by selling shipping, handling, or financial services. As such, we price all such support items AT COST.
  Compare And Confirm -- Our BOTTOM-LINE is lower than anyone elses -- You WILL Save with Miniature-GIANT!
  • Handling -- we charge exactly 50¢ on each order to cover all shipping materials and miscellaneous fees (gasoline, toner, paper, labels, etc.). Often companies include this fee directly in their shipping fees, e.g., "Shipping & Handling". However, by separating this item, our Virginia customers are spared the added expense of paying Sales Tax on their shipping cost. We do this purely as a service to them.
  • Sales Tax -- we are required by law to collect 5% sales tax from every order which is sent to a Virginia address. This 5% must be based on the product and handling subtotal.
  • Assurance -- We offer two delivery assurance programs
    • Miniature-GIANT Guaranteed Delivery -- this optional fee guarantees your package is delivered or we will replace or refund your order. This does not cover shipping damage, but does cover postage, payment, taxes, and option fees. Maximum allowed limit on liability is $500.
    • USPS Insurance -- Miniature-GIANT offers USPS insurance AT COST as a customer service. This insurance does not cover postage, payment, taxes, or option fees. Maximum allowed limit on liability is $500.
  
   
• Processing Time
  • Shipped by next "Postal Day" -- that is, once the payment funds are available to us, we will ship your order on or before the next day that the USPS is open
  • Usually orders are shipped on the same day as payment is received/clears.
  • Custom and international orders may take longer
  • Please allow additional time to process orders that require creation of multiple, new Painter's Logs -- for photographing, formatting, etc.
  
   
• Returns - We want to make you HAPPY, so ...  we have an UNSURPASSED MONEY BACK guarantee!!!
  • You must first obtain a Return Authorization(RA) number -- just eMail us at returns@Miniature-GIANT.com with your order number, what is to be returned, and why ("not as ordered" or "changed mind").
    • "not as ordered" -- we will refund you your FULL PAYMENT, including all fees and actual return shipping (in accordance with RA instructions)
    • "changed mind" -- we will refund you your FULL PURCHASE PRICE, including sales tax (if applicable), but not fees, shipping, or return shipping.
  • All returns must be in the same condition as sent.   Shipping insurance is available to protect against damage in transit.
  • All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery.
  • Non-blister sealed Pro Paints (found in our Bargain Bin section) are NOT returnable.

  Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, disclosed, or loaned! Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will only be used by us in the normal course of our business support and outreach. • Miscellaneous
  • Intended Use - Miniature-GIANT makes no claims as to the functionality, applicability, or usefullness of any of the products that it sells, beyond that provided by each product's respective manufacturer.
  • Taxes - Miniature-GIANT is not responsible for any taxes or fees as a result of your purchase or jurisdictions outside of our company's headquarters.   This includes any fees or taxes levied by local customs officials.
  • Fair Use - Pictures, text, files, and all other resources found on this website may be used for non-commercial personal use only.  Any other usage of Miniature-GIANT images or properties without expressed, written permission is prohibited.
  • Under Age - Many of Miniature-GIANT products contain small, sharp components and, as such, are not intended for use by children.   As with any e-commerce site, all users under the age of 13 must have their parent's or legal guardian's permission to use this site.
