The #1402, Magnus, Wizard of Hope figure was released as a fund raiser for 9-11 relief. This figure was the first of several such disaster relief figures (#1410 & #1411 - Tsumani Disaster; #1412 - Hurricane Katrina), so what makes this one so special? This is the only such figure that we have ever that bears a relief label:

Obviously, since this is a printed label, many were manufactured. But in the hundreds of such figures, including many #1402s, that we have seen, this is the only one that we have ever seen that bears such a label. Lest you think that it was added "after the fact", this label is affixed under the edge of the sealed blister! (In fact, I personally don't recall seeing anything else made during that dreadful time that bears such an auspicious indication of philanthropic history. Furthermore, this figure and blister pack are in perfect condition -- absolutely beautiful and fit for proud display. Truely a RARE item!

This Special Edition figure by Reaper Miniatures is entitled "Magnus, Wizard of Hope", #1402. This pewter miniature is of a human wizard. "Magnus, Wizard of Hope" was sculpted by Werner Klocke. This Special Edition miniature shows a male adult holding a staff in both hands. This Reaper product is not painted and may require some assembly. When completed, this miniature will consist of one Special Edition model.

NOTE: This Special Edition miniature is new and in mint condition, though the package may have some minor "shelf wear" -- just as you would expect to find in a local retail store.
