This unique 3D handmade Valentine card is designed using a Pattern Paper technique that produces delightful results. It also combines stenciling and Copic coloring The card is bold and vibrant in color. It is humorous and playful in its use of a pun with the adorable cartoon sheep. The top layer is a white card stock that is die cut in a tag shape, with a curved scalloped at the top. It has faux stitching all around the edge. The country scene consists of two wooly sheep in a green meadow with a random portion of a fence in the background. The sheep have been embossed on patterned paper, cut out and then glued onto the white card stock. The one on the left is proudly presenting her birthday gift to her dear friend. She is made of a gray and white crisscross pattern paper. Her face, ear and hoofs are colored gray. She is wearing a solid pink paper party hat with a darker pink heart on it. The balloon is cut from a light pink polka dot on a dark pink background paper. The sheep on the right is looking excitedly at the heart shaped balloon gift! She has a gray and white swirly pattern paper for her body. Her ear and face are in the crisscross pattern like her wooly friend. Her feet are colored gray. Both ewes are standing in a meadow of lush green stenciled grass. This means every card will have a slightly different look, since this is hand done with several stencils on each card. The fence is colored in a medium brown. Above the sheep is a soft blue sky that separates the cartoon element from the sentiment. In a playful cursive font, it reads: happy Valentine's day, and is done in black embossing. At the top of the tag, there is a cross grain ribbon in a spring green with white stitching on each side. The tag is on an elevated layer. The vibrant colors of the patterned paper beneath the tag goes the full length of the card. It stands out in colors of hot pink, white and shades of blues and greens. The light blue base card only shows on the right and left edges, and opens vertically. In another playful font, the inside sentiment states: Wool you be mine? To the left of the sentiment, there is a strip of the of the vibrant patterned paper. It comes with a white mailing envelope. It is an A2 card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
